CHICAGO (MarketWatch) — Following Berkshire Hathaway Inc.’s worst year on record, Chairman Warren Buffett told shareholders Saturday that the economy would remain in “shambles” during 2009 and beyond, offering no prediction about the future may hold for U.S. stocks.
The book value of Berkshire Hathway “A” shares fell 9.6% but the stock has fallen 44%.

The Canadian dollar is under pressure since reaching 110 USD in the fall of 2008 and the CAD dollar is now testing its recent lows of 78.35. If breeched it brings in the possibility of a continued decline over the next several months.
